STAYING HOME WHEN DISPLAYING COVID-19 SYMPTOMS
If you, or any member of your household, is exhibiting any of the common COVID-19 symptoms (fever, malaise, dry cough, shortness of breath), we ask that the whole family stay home and fully recover before joining Sunday service or any other church activity.
If the symptomatic person is tested negative for COVID-19, his/her household members do not have to wait until his/her recovery before attending church activities. We still ask the symptomatic person to wait until full recovery.
If you are under compulsory quarantine (travel, close contact with COVID-19 carrier, etc), we ask that you refrain from attending church activities until the end of your quarantine.
After prayerful consideration, SPKids have decided to open up their classes in phases based on age level (oldest to youngest) in an effort to coordinate a smooth transition to full opening of classes.
Please go to the SPKids Relaunch Update for more SPKids related information.
We will be able to fit 80% of our normal capacity. There will still be one overflow room in order to accommodate as many people as possible. Once our sanctuary and overflow seats are filled up, we will unfortunately need to turn you away.
Before entering the sanctuary, each person/household will need to register their information. This information will strictly be used only for the purpose of contacting you regarding any Covid-19 related matters.
There are two ways for you to register: you can register at the door on Sunday or you can register in advance online. We would like to ask everyone to register online for the following two reasons:
- It will expedite your check-in process.
- It will give us an idea of how many people we can expect for service.
Please note – Registering in advance does not reserve you a seat. If sanctuary and overflow seats are filled up by the time you come, you will still be turned away at the door. But it will definitely help make the check-in process quicker.
You may register by clicking on the green bar above.
We will also perform a temperature check on each person. Any person with one or more of the following symptoms will be advised to return home and seek medical care as soon as they are able to:
- Temperature above 37.5 degrees Celsius
- Common COVID-19 symptoms
- Dry cough
- Shortness of breath
You will receive a sticker to indicate that your temperature is in the normal range.
The building management of Two Chinachem Plaza has requested everyone to wear a face mask in the lifts.
As a church, we are asking anyone over the age of 2 yrs old to wear a face mask while at church. Masks must be worn at all times in all SP premises. Drinking water and taking communion are still permitted, as long as you quickly put your mask back on.
If you do not have a mask on you, you can inform one of our staff members and we will be able to provide you with a mask (including children’s masks).
If anyone is preaching or leading the congregation in singing and prayer, they may remove their face masks during that time.
NO FOOD AND DRINKS
Food and drinks are not allowed anywhere in the 2/F (other than communion). This applies to everyone, including children. Sunday refreshments, barista service, and water dispensers will be unavailable until further notice.
Hand sanitizers will be provided at the entrance of the sanctuary. Please make sure to disinfect your hands frequently.
We will not be passing around the offering basket. The offering basket will be placed at the entrance of the sanctuary.
Communal Bibles will no longer be available.
We will be using individually-packed communion sets.
We will be regularly disinfecting the frequently touched areas of our premises including the sanctuary chairs, elevator buttons, door handles and foyer sofas.
