SP Bridge Ministry provides opportunities for people with bilingual skills (Chinese and English) to act as a bridge to share God’s word through live interpretation or document translations in partnership with other ministries
Situation in Hong Kong
- Approx 90% of Hong Kong population speaks Cantonese as their default language to communicate, and another 5% mainly uses other forms of Chinese dialects
- Approx 2% speaks English as their default language to communicate, though around 50% could use English to communicate
- Ethnic Chinese accounts for approx 92% of population, followed by Filipinos 3%, Indonesians 2%, Caucasians 1%

How we respond?
- As an international English speaking church, we want to follow Jesus Christ, sharing the Word of God to our neighbours, majority of which is Cantonese speaking Chinese
- SP Bridge Ministry team wants to use the abilities and gifts God has given us to connect the people of Hong Kong to Jesus! We share the love of God and the gospel on a one-on-one basis as well as to a crowd
