SPKids Kids Club

We are currently serving ethnic minority children from Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Indonesia. Many have never heard or experienced the love of God. We are blessed to be able to share the gospel with them through fun and interactive ways.

Through Kid’s Club, they can hear the good news every week. We also teach them positive values, character development, and integrity through games, songs, arts and crafts, skits, and stories.

Kid’s Club will run every Saturday from 3:00PM-6:00PM.

Re-igniting Shine Hong Kong this Summer

We are so glad that social restrictions have eased as we come to the tail of 5th Wave of Covid! Let’s get back on track and go out to serve the marginalised in Hong Kong! We are re-igniting our outreach efforts to bring God’s light to the cardboard collectors in Hong Kong through YWAM Tuen Mun’ Shine Hong Kong initiative!

The plan is to go out to find these treasured ones this summer, chat with them, bless them with a Shine Hong Kong kit, and pray for them.

Time: First Saturday of June, July and August 10am and 2pm
Meeting Venue: Solomon’s Porch

Come, join and be a blessing!

Egape Volunteer Recruitment

Egape is one of the outreach ministries we have at SP.

We aim to empower domestic helpers by equipping them with language, music and computer literacy classes. We are currently recruiting volunteers to teach English, Cantonese and Computer. Teaching materials will be provided.

You don’t need to be a teacher to serve, just a humble heart to love and share some skills. We are looking for volunteers to start in mid-July. Classes are held every Sunday afternoon at SPIN in Causeway Bay. Our ministry is very relationship-focused, there is a 3-month commitment requirement for all volunteers. Consider giving your time to God to serve in Egape. If you have any questions, please contact Egape at [email protected].

Helping Without Hurting

A bestselling book When Helping Hurts has changed the way thousands of church and ministry leaders approach poverty.

This course is designed to equip you to begin effectively helping low-income people and articulates a biblical framework for poverty alleviation.

Come and learn how to walk with the materially poor in humble relationships instead of providing them temporary handouts.

6-Week courses will start on Tuesday, June 28 at 7:30pm, including a practicum or research project. This will be an in-person course and GIC graduation is a prerequisite to join.

The course payment is HK$200. Find out more and sign up on www.sphk.org/hwh
