House Church is a place where people can encounter God. When we make encountering God our priority, it changes how we do things. It’s easy to fill the time with discussions and activities, but we need to intentionally create space for God to move. This means:
- Waiting on the Lord
- Listening to the Spirit
- Stepping out in faith to pray and prophesy
When we do this, God shows up, and everything changes. People experience that God is real, active, and cares. Relationships within the house church grow stronger as we encounter God together. This excitement leads people to invite others, and the house church grows naturally. While evangelism and fellowship are important, when we focus on God, all these things follow.
But seek first his kingdom and riteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. – Matthew 6:33
