Solomon's Porch

SPKIDS Family Worship & Prayer

As a new school year begins, we invite your family to gather and seek God’s presence, guidance, and peace. Together, we will worship and pray over our children, teachers, and schools to dedicate the upcoming year to the Lord.

*REMINDER: Please bring a picnic mat for your whole family to sit on.*

Parenting Workshop:
Understanding the Pulse:
Gen Alpha + The Home Pulse

Speakers: Elvin and Esther Foong (The Treasure Box SG + KidminSG)

We will update you on our meeting location at SP.

Growing up in a fast-paced, connected world, Gen Alpha children are quietly searching for identity, safety, and belonging. This practical workshop helps parents understand what shapes their kids today while exploring how their own upbringings influence their parenting style. Through the simple C.A.R.E. framework, you’ll discover how to support your child’s emotional and spiritual development and shape their heart in everyday moments.

Join the Egape Classes Team – sharing love through education!

Every single day, thousands of Indonesian domestic helpers pour their hearts into serving households all across Hong Kong. Today, we have a beautiful opportunity to serve them with the love of Christ.

That is exactly why we run our Egape classes weekly on Sunday from 12:00 noon to 3:00PM (with breaks for Christmas, Easter and Summer). It’s a joyful, loving space where these wonderful women can build community and learn practical skills. We currently offer classes in:

1. English and Cantonese for everyday communication.
2. Computer Skills for digital empowerment.
3. Music to bring praise and joy to their lives.

Here is where you come in: To keep this vital ministry running and growing, we need volunteers.

You don’t need to be a professional teacher! Whether you can facilitate a language conversation, assist with basic computer steps, or simply offer an encouragement, your presence will make a massive difference!

Let’s bless those who bless our city so selflessly. If you want to find out more about serving with our Egape team — please register your interest by clicking on the button below and we get in touch with you soon.

Do you know SP has a drug rehab ministry? Our team goes to Sai Kung every last Saturday of the month to serve men trapped in addiction that breaks relationships and families apart!

We invite you to be the hands and feet of Jesus to serve our Lord through the brothers there!

We are not looking for perfect people or theological experts. We are looking for men and women willing to show up, share a meal, chat with them or just listen.

By giving half a day a month, you can remind the men that their past does not define them, and that God is a God of restoration!

You can find out more by clicking on the button below, emailing [email protected], or talking to any member of the rehab ministry team!

May you be abundantly rewarded as you answer His call to go!

We are thrilled to re-launch our Prison Ministry – a powerful opportunity to live out Jesus’ call in Matthew 25:35-36: “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.”

This ministry is about sharing God’s love, hope, and redemption with those behind bars. This is your chance to be the hands and feet of Jesus, offering compassion, encouragement, and the transformative power of the Gospel to those who need it most.

Whether you feel called to worship, preach, share your testimony, teach a skill, or simply pray, there is a place for you in this ministry. Lives are being changed, and you can be part of that story!

To serve, you’ll need to have completed GIC and be part of HC. For more details, contact Tim at [email protected]

Let’s come together as a church family to bring light into dark places and hope to those who need it mos!
