Some of you may remember the good old days when we had baristas serving fresh coffees of your choice! Good news! We are relaunching the Barista Ministry!

As such, we are recruiting! Anyone with a passion in hospitality is welcome, you do not need to be well versed in coffee to join because training will be provided.

Our vision is to create an inviting and warm atmosphere for our new comers and greater space for fellowship that brings our community closer together.

We have our very own conference from September 26-28th, called “Faithful Thinking in a Misleading Age: A Biblical Response to Secular Disinformation” which will be full of answers and guidance to controversial topics that we grapple with daily.

Dr. Ryun Chang is no stranger to SP! He was both P Sam and Lisa’s pastor at one point in their lives and is currently the teaching Pastor at AMI (Acts Ministries International).

These are topics very relevant to believers and not a lot of people have addressed them from a biblical standpoint. At the end of each session there will be Q&A time, this ensures you will find answers and clarifications on how to engage in these conversations with Christians and Pre-believers!

Get ready to ignite your faith journey with Growing in Christ. This course covers a range of relevant topics, from assurance of salvation to getting involved with the church to sharing your faith. This educational and encouraging resource is designed to help you master the fundamentals of the Christian life and dive deeper into Scripture.

It is a 8 week course (meeting once a week) that costs $350, and the starting point for discipleship courses at SP. It is a prerequisite for serving at the church, participating in mission trips and taking the Experiencing God course.

To pass the course, you are only allowed to miss two classes.

Exciting news to the men of the house! We have our Men’s retreat dates confirmed! Please save the date for a time of fellowship, fun and lots of good food!

We’ll kickstart this retreat on the evening of the 6th, and then you’ll be spending the night at the hotel from the 7th-8th. Everything is booked except for your rooms! So make sure you stay tuned for sign up details that will be released soon!
