Fostering and Adoption Awareness Month – Safe Families

While not everyone is called to foster or adopt, each of us has a role to play in making a difference. One impactful way to help is by supporting single moms who are eager to care for their children but may be facing difficult times. Through Safe Families, volunteers work in groups of two to three to create a supportive community for single mothers and their children.

The assistance offered can vary— from babysitting and parenting advice to simply being a listening ear or providing words of encouragement. Check out the video here to learn more.

If you’re interested or have any questions, feel free to reach out to Cadence Lam at [email protected] or Angela Chin at [email protected].
