Sunday Service Ministries

Are you looking for ways to serve our church community on Sundays but have a busy schedule?

Check out these ministries that don’t require a big time commitment:

Welcome Team

As a welcomer, you’ll be the first point of contact for our visitors and the congregation, greeting them with your warm and friendly smile and helping them feel welcome in our community! After service you’ll have the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations with newcomers or with our regular members. GIC and being part of a House Church is required.

Announcement Team

Public speaking can be an intimidating task, but it is also a great way to make a difference by guiding our congregation to the “what’s next” in their faith journey! Announcements are essential in keeping our members updated with what’s happening in our church and your voice will be the one that carries that information on. GIC is required.

Offering Song

Have you ever thought “I’d like to do that” when it’s offering song time? Guess what? Anyone in our congregation can do it!

If you have a desire to serve God through your performance – whether it be singing, playing musical instruments, or even dancing – we want to encourage you to use your talents and use it as an act of worship to our wonderful God!

SP Kids

Are you looking for a creative way to serve in SPKids? The ministry is recruiting for their Craft Prep Team where you can diligently prepare materials on weekdays and Saturdays for the kids craft time on Sundays!

If arts and crafts are not your forte but you love working with kids, you can do that as well! Please fill in the form below if you are interested.

SP Youth

Calling all the people who have a passion in serving our youth!! We need your hand to help us walk alongside our youth group as they journey through middle school and high school.

The youth group meets every Friday night at 7PM and Sunday at 11:30AM.

Local Outreach

Are you looking for an opportunity to serve people in our local community? Has God placed a desire in your heart to help those in need? Our neighbours are domestic helpers or local people who may be homeless, in poverty, or struggling with drugs.

Early Morning Prayer

EMP is held two days a week on Tuesdays and Fridays @ 7am. Join us in-person and experience the power of prayer in action as we intercede for our community, loved ones and ourselves!

During special periods like our 21 day fast, Lent, and Advent, daily EMP will resume!

Our sanctuary is also open from 12-2PM for people to come in and pray on their own.

Four People in One Room

($2400 + $1600) + ($1600 + $2400)
TOTAL = $8000

Registration Deadline is April 30.

The retreat fees are calculated by the number of rooms booked and the number of people staying in each room. Costs include hotel rooms and meals.

Max occupancy per room:

Two youths/adults (12yrs and up) and two children (3-11yrs) per room
A baby (under 3yrs) will not be counted toward this number
Youths will not be able to stay with two parents; they will need to book a separate room

Men's Prayer

We welcome all SP Men to connect over our regular Monday online gatherings! This is a time to share our burdens and get to know one another better.

Whether you are new or been with SP a while, this is an opportunity to connect with new faces and pray for one another.

Our prayer meeting will be from 12:30pm to 1:30pm over Google Meets.

Women's Prayer

Hi Ladies, You are invited to OASIS, a weekly online gathering for women seeking spiritual connection and rejuvenation. Starting February 5th, 2025, join us every Wednesday from 1:00 to 1:30 PM for a mid-day reset.

Each week, we’ll feature inspiring women from our community who will share their unique journeys of faith. After their stories, we’ll come together for a meaningful time of reflection and prayer.
